First, my friends Andrea and Val came down, bringing coffee, pastries, ice cream and, of course, a book - Long Song by Andrea Levy, in a beautiful embossed hardback edition. I am going to start reading it tonight. Then, online scrabble with my sister, which we do most days, and which is mainly a chat with a game of scrabble on the side. Then Amy came after school, and we bought jigsaw puzzles from Amazon. Then Rich came on his way home from work. It was a very nice day.
