Big progress on the food front today - crackers and cheese! and ice cream! and mango slices (no, not from the hospital, don't be silly, Rich bought them for me).
And I've been able to concentrate enough to read a chunk of The Monkey's Raincoat, which is very good. Up until now, I haven't really been able to read properly, because the words were swimming around on the page, literally, or turning into topographical maps (I think that's what I mean), or just being replaced by other, random words, even if I put my finger on them. Maybe that's what being dyslexic is like. In my case, it was what being seriously drugged up is like.
Anyway, medical progress is very slow but seems to be steady. I walked up and down the hallway tonight - twice!
